If you are an individual or residential land owner and your concern relates to vegetation that is near high voltage, transmission, neighborhood power lines, right of way, utility easement, or substation site, we applaud your proactive effort to keep your neighborhood safe and clear of dangerous growth! Please contact your local electrical cooperative or power company office with your feedback in addition to contacting us with photos of the area of concern.
As a sub-contractor to Regional & National Utility Contractors and an on-demand contractor for select utility companies and municipalities, we may have existing relationships in place to handle individual jobs addressing concerns of a resident or municipality. When contacting your respective utility, cooperative, or municipality, you are welcome to suggest that VegClear be considered to resolve your issue. Chances are, if the project is within our capabilities or an existing agreement structure, the utility can send us to the site for quick resolution.
Weed Control Application Frequency
Most Routine Weed Control programs are structured for quarterly, 2x annual or 1x per year sprays on your commercial site, depending on the level of growth tolerable between scheduled herbicide treatments. In select cases, we also offer one time Total Vegetation Control burn down to existing clients for Sod and Seed prep, road and lot paving subsurface treatment, new gravel base layer spray, and TVC spray on overgrown, abandoned sites.
Soil Residual Effects of Pre-emergent Herbicdes
Our holistic Integrated Vegetation Management (I.V.M.) approach considers the impact of soil residual (soil sterilant) effect of the herbicides required to achieve results requested by the client. Some of the industrial weed control products applied leave behind a long term growth germination preventative (preemergence) and others only kill existing actively growing weeds (postemergence), leaving minimal lasting effects in the soil or surface areas treated. Upon beginning a program and prior to spray work, a VegClear supervisor will address these concerns and other herbicide impacts related to your property.
