VegClear's industrial vegetation control programs are designed to meet the needs of industrial grounds and commercial property managers. To effectively control unwanted vegetation, we utilize a proprietary precision mixture of various herbicides approved by the USDA, EPA, and state-level governing bodies based on the property location and surrounding land uses. Herbicides are further divided into selective and non-selective options, chosen depending on the needs of the project. We also consider factors such as the scope of the project, portfolio requirements, ESG strategy of the client, chemical concentration, order of applications, and time of year for strategic application of the right products to the right plants.
Some of the products utilized (with or without surfactant) and their active ingredients by VegClear include Glufosinate, Plant oils, Trifluralin, Dithiopyr, Di- and Para-quat, Dicamba, Fluazifop, 2,4-D, and Triclopyr. For instance, Garlon 4 Ultra Triclopyr Post-Emergent Herbicide is a highly effective option for Brush Killer applications. It is a post-emergent herbicide that can control thick vegetation in grassy or bare ground areas, including forest floors, low-growing grass pastures, rangelands, conservation reserve programs, rights-of-way, and other non-crop sites.
At VegClear, we understand the importance of a well-executed vegetation control program, and we are dedicated to providing an informed, personalized solution for each project we take on. Our team of degreed technicians is highly trained and experienced in handling herbicides and familiar with many other vegetation control methods. Contact us today to discuss your project and let us help you achieve a successful vegetation control program on your site.
VegClear's vegetation control programs are based on the importance of Total Vegetation Control (TVC) in eliminating all vegetation to protect infrastructure, people, and natural resources on sites that pose major fire, visibility, and infrastructure risks. TVC is implemented on sites such as power substations, railroads, airports, roadsides, and oil and gas facilities. Recent research shows that tank-mixing two effective mechanisms of action is a superior resistance management strategy compared to rotating mechanisms of action, but effective tank mixes for TVC have not been thoroughly evaluated. VegClear conducted a field experiment from 2010 to 2016 in five sites in Tennessee and Georgia to compare 40 treatment combinations and two industry standards for TVC. The research identified seven top-ranking treatments that provide multiple mechanisms of action to manage herbicide-resistant weeds and minimize non-target impacts. These treatments represent newer, lower use rate herbicide combinations and include indaziflam and two other herbicides. The typical diuron/imazapyr mix was also in the top-ranking treatments, while bromacil + diuron performed inconsistently across most sites.
To achieve the best results, VegClear utilizes a range of non-restricted herbicides approved by the USDA, EPA, and state-level governing bodies, including non-selective options for total vegetation control and selective options to target specific types of vegetation. VegClear's team takes into consideration various factors, such as the scope of the project, portfolio requirements, corporate environmental strategy of the client, active ingredient concentration, order and frequency of treatments, and season, for strategic application of the right products to the right vegetation. The team has a precision mixture of one to several of these products at varied concentrations for combined applications from a single tank mix applied in tandem. Alternatively, they often schedule individual follow-up applications back-to-back, usually about a month apart.
VegClear understands that each project is unique and has designed their industrial vegetation control programs to meet the specific needs of each property and decision-maker. The team of licensed technicians is highly trained and familiar with herbicides, and many other vegetation control methods, to find the best solution for each site. The company offers a successful vegetation control program to achieve the goals of industrial, commercial, and multi-use properties, and clients can contact VegClear to discuss their project and get started.
